HIGHLIGHTS OF QUALIFICATIONS
I have been in
the telecommunication industry for over 20 years as a Testing Technician and
also a Provisioner handling critical projects both on the technical and
administrative side. Some of the projects that I’ve worked on involved
copper to fiber rolls on cell sites and deloading of analog data and voice
circuits on T1 carriers. The types of circuits I’ve worked on are T1’s
requiring DACS & Titan Rolls going on copper or fiber pairs, DSO’s, which
includes analog and digital data circuits. On the Provisioning side, I’ve
issued ASR’s for a wireless provider, tracking the circuit from the ordering
to installation process. I have the ability to multi-task with strong
organization, technical testing, oral & written communication and
administrative skills. Not only do I work well independently, I am also
a team player. I am able to handle high-end user problems diplomatically
and efficiently. I have used the following applications to
perform my task: TIRKS, WFAC, SORD, LMOS, SWFOMS, JARMS, PREDICTOR, GRANITE,
TCATS, HOMER, REACT, EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK, ETC..

Pull work log notes in Homer to determine what
type of work is required.

For hot cuts and grooms, build excel spreadsheets
of all circuits being moved off existing CFA.
·
Research address and billing number of each T1
using LEC database, Granite cell site or previous order numbers to extract
information.
·
Populate spreadsheet with path, segment, existing
CFA, new CFA, address. Determine if circuit is going to a microwave
site.
·
Issue Access Service Request (ASR)-
determine if change or new/disconnect orders are needed, or if T1s are point
to point or meet points and issue to appropriate LECs, such as Verizon,
AT&T, Hawaiian Tel, Qwest, Qwest CCC, Frontier, CenturyLink, XO
Communications, Level 3, etc.
·
Build new segments in Granite and attach to
Paths.
·
When orders are confirmed, update all systems and
send spreadsheet with pertinent information to notify project managers,
switch managers of cut date and time.
·
Escalate to appropriate groups and LECs when
required. Correspond with client through oral and written

Track order from beginning to end. Confirm cuts
were done the next day. Check LEC systems for completion date.
Put circuits to “in service” in Granite, update all fields in Granite, TCATS
